On May 20, CCCC Second Harbor Consultants Co., Ltd. and CCCC First Harbor Engineering Co., Ltd. jointly won the EPC (engineering, purchase and construction) project of Shandong LNG Dock and land area formation works, with total value of RMB 857 million.

The building size of Shandong LNG Dock project is 3.00 million tons of annual LNG transfer capacity (Phase I), which will be expanded to annual transfer capacity of 5.00 million tons in Phase II.

The dock engineering is planned with one 270 thousand m3 LNG ship berth, one working boat dock and relevant supporting facilities, mainly including LNG dock and approach bridge, breakwater, land formation, land foundation treatment, bank revetment, working boat dock, harbor basin and navigation channel dredging, and hydraulic building at the water intakes and outlets.

The completion of this project will effectively alleviate the intense situation of LNG supply in the whole Shandong Province and further improve the supply pattern of multiple gas sources in Shandong Province and even Northern China region.
