Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Gazprom Management Committee and Robert Dudley, Group Chief Executive of British Petroleum (BP) held a working meeting as part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2011.

The parties considered the global energy market trends in Europe and Asia paying special attention to the LNG market.

Background

BP is one of the word’s largest petroleum companies conducting its business on six continents with the staff totaling 80 thousand employees. BP produces oil and gas in 29 countries with its products and services available in more than 100 countries.

Russia has become the key element for the long-term growth strategy of BP. The company has been active in Russia for some 20 years.
