BAM International, the operating company of Royal BAM Group active outside Europe, has won a contract for the construction of an offshore mooring structure outside Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, Indonesia.

The contract value for the construction amounts to € 16 million. The facility will be handed over to client Golar LNG Energy and affiliates in December 2011.

The mooring will be suitable for the berthing of the Golar owned and operated Floating, Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) and the delivering LNGCs which will be moored alongside the FSRU. The FSRU for this project is a modified LNG carrier that receives LNG offshore, which is then transported to shore from the FSRU through pipelines.
