Fairmount Sherpa Tows Rowan Stavanger Jack-Up to Drilling Location Offshore Norway

Last week FAIRMOUNT SHERPA towed jack-up rig ROWAN STAVANGER to her new drilling location offshore Norway.

FAIRMOUNT SHERPA was assigned to tow the rig from Hinna Base in Stavanger to the YME Oil-field, approximately 120nm offshore Norway. Upon arrival in the field Fairmount Sherpa had to carry out heading control duties, while Fairmount Sherpa was jacking down her legs. When Fairmount Sherpa was safely positioned on the seabottom, Fairmount Sherpa demobilized back to Stavanger.
