Dril-Quip, Inc. today announced that Dril-Quip Asia Pacific PTE Ltd, its wholly owned subsidiary located in Singapore, has been awarded a contract valued at approximately US$39 million by Murphy Sabah Oil Company, Ltd. to supply drilling and production equipment for the Kikeh Dry Tree Spar Platform which is located offshore Malaysia in approximately 1,330 meters of water.
Dril-Quip will provide a drilling riser, top tensioned production risers, tensioners, tieback connectors, specialty joints, surface wellheads and production trees to the project. Delivery of these systems is scheduled to begin in 2012.
Dril-Quip is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered offshore drilling and production equipment which is well suited for use in deepwater, harsh environment and severe service applications.
