Norway: Bergen Group Wins Eldfisk Bravo Gig from ConocoPhillips

Bergen Group Offshore awarded EPCI modification project by ConocoPhillips for Eldfisk Bravo. Bergen Group Offshore has, through its subsidiary Bergen Group Rosenberg AS, been awarded a brownfield modification project by ConocoPhillips. The contract value for the project is about 80 MNOK, and will generate activity during 2011 and 2012.

In 2009 Bergen Group Rosenberg signed an agreement with ConocoPhillips (Norway Capital Projects) for larger modification work in the Ekofisk Area. Today’s awarded contracts are part of this agreement.

The EPCI-contract (Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation) involves modifications to the Eldfisk B platform the onshore activities will be executed at Bergen Group Rosenberg in Stavanger and offshore activities to be completed in July 2012 with a final delivery to client in Q3 2012. Bergen Group is a maritime industrial group with main focus on the offshore industry and specialized vessels. The Group has a total of 1,700 employees and approximately 600 of these are associated with Bergen Group Rosenberg.
