The Netherlands: Supervisory Board of Van Oord to Appoint New Member of Executive Board

The Supervisory Board of Van Oord has, in consultation with the Executive Board, decided to increase the Executive Board with one member. The Supervisory Board of Van Oord has, in consultation with the Executive Board, decided to increase the Executive Board with one member. The Works Council has already advised positively regarding this appointment.

As a result Mr. P.W. (Paul) Verheul MSc. will start with Van Oord as from 1st September 2011 and be appointed member of the Executive Board. He will report to the CEO, Mr P. (Pieter) van Oord .

Paul Verheul is 49 years old. He has worked for 16 years with the Royal Netherlands Navy and thereafter for 13 years in the aviation industry. His current position is CEO at Driessen Aerospace Group, part of Zodiac Aerospace.

The increase of the Executive Board is related to the expected growth of the company. This appointment will have no consequences for the governance structure of the company.

As of 1 September the Executive Board of Van Oord consists of Mr.P (Pieter) van Oord CEO, Mr. P.H.G. (Peter) de Ridder COO, Mr P.W. (Paul Verheul) COO and Mr. A.J. (Arjan) van de Kerk CFO .
