On June 27, SOCAR President Mr. Rovnag Abdullayev and Company management visited the Oil Rocks offshore field. During the meeting, SOCAR management was accompanied by representatives of “Azneft” Production Unit and of other enterprises.
Mr. Abdullayev and SOCAR officials visited the monument to the national leader Heydar Aliyev. Afterwards, SOCAR President paid a visit to strata pressure stabilization plant of 28 May OGPD and got acquainted with carried out repair and reconstruction works. He ordered to complete work on a new installation to clean stratal water from the Guneshli offshore field. Then, Mr. Abdullayev visited Compressor Plant. He was informed that the new installation of FL Smidth production will allow cleaning and pumping of 3,550 cubic meters of stratal water per day in the exhaust gas wells located at platform #85.
SOCAR management attended the ceremony of putting in use of newly repaired nine-storey hostel at Oil Rocks. Afterwards, SOCAR management held a meeting led by the Company President. Opening the conference, Mr. Abdullayev spoke about huge potential and effective exploitation of Oil Rocks and Mud Hill fields.
Chief of Oil Rocks OGPD Mr. Sarkhan Babashov reported on achievements of 5 months of 2011. Rahman Gurbanov, SOCAR vice-president on oil-gas production and transportation, Mr. Aghasaf Aliyev, Head of SOCAR Capital Investments Department, Mr. Dashgin Isgandarov, Director General of Azneft PU, Mr. Rauf Valiyev, Head of SOCAR Transportation Department, Mr. Mubariz Madatov, Head of Caspian Oil Fleet, Mr. Fakhraddin Ismayilov, Director of “OilGasScientificResearchProject” Institute, as well as Mr. Mirkazim Abasov, Chief of “OilGasConstruction” Trust spoke at the meeting.
