Exoma Energy Limited released the Drilling Report for the Wonganella- 1 core well. The well is being drilled by Exoma as Joint Venture Operator of ATP 991P, ATP 996P, ATP 999P, ATP 1005P and ATP 1008P (Exoma 50%, CNOOC Galilee Gas Company 50%).

This is the second well of a 12 well exploration program to evaluate the CSG and shale gas potential of the Joint Venture area to be drilled during 2011 using the Atlas No1 Rig.

Progress:

As at 30 June 2011: 12.00 pm. At coring point at 951 metres, 4.5” casing set and cemented. Drilling recovered chip samples from approximately 6 metres of Toolebuc Shale for petrological analysis. Running in hole with coring string in preparation for drilling out of the casing.

Planned Operations:

Drilling out of casing shoe in preparation for commencement of coring operations on early Friday morning. Coring through Betts Creek and Aramac coal measures to 1115 metres, followed by logging and DST of selected coal seams.

Exoma has a 50% beneficial interest in both ATP 1008P and the Saltern-1 well. CNOOC Galilee Gas Company is earning its participating interest by a farmin that funds Exoma’s share of the cost of drilling this well.
