The National Renewable Energy Centre (Narec) is offering the opportunity for a reduced cost testing of an industry partners large (>60m) Wind Turbine Blade in Narec’s new 100m Blade Test Facility (BTF2).
Narec’s primary objective for offering this opportunity is to expeditiously commission the new Blade Test Facilities Data Acquisition System (DAQ), Static Test Winches and Fatigue Test Compact Resonant Mass (CRM) Systems, using the CRADA partners test article. The facility commissioning is expected to begin in February 2012 and will last for 3 to 6 months.
