MEO Australia Limited announced that the Designated Authority has approved and registered the transfer and dealings in relation to the farm-in by Eni Australia Limited (Eni) to exploration permit NT/P68. All conditions precedent in relation to this transaction have now been fulfilled.
Eni has advised that the technical work required to prepare for drilling the Heron-3 well is underway and it has commenced the process of securing a suitable rig and obtaining the necessary regulatory approvals to drill the well. Further announcements will be made when the timing of the drilling program is confirmed.
