USA: EXMAR Delivers OPTI-EX Floating Production System to LLOG

EXMAR announces that the OPTI-EX® floating production system has been successfully delivered to LLOG Deepwater Development Company on July 5th, at Mississippi Canyon 547 in the Gulf of Mexico. EXMAR announces that the OPTI-EX® floating production system has been successfully delivered to LLOG Deepwater Development Company on July 5th, at Mississippi Canyon 547 in the Gulf of Mexico.

Mooring and installation of the OPTI-EX® will follow. Processing capacity of the OPTIEX® is 60,000 BOPD and 150 MMCFD of gas.

As per agreement, the total consideration for the sale of the OPTI-EX® to be paid to EXMAR will be in excess of USD 400 million. A first payment of USD 104.5 million has been made to EXMAR on delivery. Payment of the balance will be made over a period of about 62 months following installation.
