IREC participes in EMERGE, a research project aimed at developing a system for generating offshore wind energy. The project has been allocated a budget of 3,910,275.80 euros It is partly financed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and co-financed with ERDF funds as part of the INNPACTO 2010 P

IREC participes in EMERGE, a research project aimed at developing a system for generating offshore wind energy.

The project has been allocated a budget of 3,910,275.80 euros It is partly financed by the Ministry of Science and Innovation and co-financed with ERDF funds as part of the INNPACTO 2010 Project.

Also involved in the project are two companies and four research foundations, which form a consortium of six partners.

The main goal of the EMERGE project is to generate the knowledge and develop the technology necessary to expand and lead the construction of offshore wind energy stations.
