A/S Norske Shell has received consent to use the West Navigator mobile facility for drilling and well operations on Ormen Lange.
The consent relates to work on subsea template C, drilling of three production wells and drilling of a pilot well. The operation is scheduled to start in July 2011. West Navigator (formerly West Navion, pictured) is owned and operated by North Atlantic Norway Limited (formerly Seadrill Management AS). The drilling facility received an Acknowledgement of Compliance (AoC) in September 2000.
