DOF Subsea Norway AS has been awarded the contract for Goliat FPSO Marine Installation Activities. The value of the contract is approximately 300 MNOK. The contract duration is from July 2011 to December 2013

DOF has been selected as preferred partner after a thorough evaluation of both technical and commercial criteria. The contract includes fabrication and installation of 14 suction anchors, pre-installation of bottom chain, polyester line, buoyancy elements, temporary mooring of the FPSO outside Hammerfest and the final tow -out and hook-up at the field.

To date, more than 60 per cent of the total value of contracts linked to the Goliat development has been awarded to Norwegian suppliers.

DOF Subsea CEO stated “The award of this contract is a significant milestone in our strategic plan to become a leader in the Mooring Installation market. The project will engage the technical capabilities of our subsidiary engineering company Semar AS, and utilize the capability of our Installer class vessel Skandi Skolten. We are pleased to be chosen as preferred partner to Eni Norge on this exciting Norwegian development.”
