The leading Investor Relations (IR) award, IR Magazine Awards 2011, elected Petrobras as the company with the best investor relations program for individual investors.
In Brazil, the event is conducted by IR Magazine and the Instituto Brasileiro de Relações com Investidores (Brazilian Institute of Investor Relations). This is the sixth time out of seven Petrobras has won the IR Magazine Award.
For Almir Guilherme Barbassa, Petrobras CFO and IRO , the award is “an important recognition for the whole IR team at Petrobras, a company with a shareholder base in excess of seven hundred thousand investors.”
Petrobras also received an honorable mention in the “Best IR website” category and was ranked as one of the top five among Brazilian companies.
