CIC Boluomiao shipyard with its own technical expertise, not only repairs bulk carrier, oil tankers, container ships, but also repairs the multi-purpose ocean tugs, LPG carriers, chemical tankers, asphalt carrier, ro-ro ships, dredgers and other special ships. She has a good market reputation and the enjoys the position of authority. The LPG carrier “YIN LONG” was safely repaired with good and redelivered by the shipyard on June 22, 2011.
The ship arrived to the shipyard for repair on June 14, 2011. The repair work included diesel generator overhaul, pumps repairs, motor overhaul and some fire work etc. The chiefs of relative departments had the staff remove all of the machinery required to be repaired and solved problem on site at the night when ship entered.
During the repair period, every employee devoted themselves to the work and usually work overnight. For the safety management, focusing on the difficulty and emphasis of the LPG carrier, the safety department took a series of pre-control measures to actively carry out the work of fire & explosion prevention. They reinforced the ventilation for two large cylinders to reduce the concentration of combustible gas. They made a gas-free test and measured oxygen one time every two hours to closely monitor the concentration change of combustible gas. They strengthened the on-site inspection, especially for the two large cylinders and fire operations, so that the shipyard could safely complete the repair work with good quality.
