On Juli 14th, in her home-port Delfzijl, Shipyard Barkmeijer, Stroobos, delivered m.v. Marietje Deborah to the Danser- van Gent family, Delfzijl.
This 1A ice classed multi-purpose vessel is the third of four vessels Shipyard Barkmeijer is building for the Danser-Van Gent/Wagenborg combination. The main engine, a 3060 kW 9 cil. (800 revs/min) B&W MAN-diesel, delivers a speed of 14 knots. These vessels dispose of a cargo-hold of 68 metres and a speed-nozzle of 3,43 in diameter.
