R.K Garg has taken over the charge of Director (Finance) of India’s Petronet LNG on 20th July 2011.
He is a Post Graduate in Commerce and member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
He joined Petronet LNG in its initial formative years in 2001 as Vice President (Finance) & Company Secretary and has been a part of the key senior management team involved in all its strategic decisions for sourcing of LNG, sales agreements, construction and financing of LNG terminals.
Garg started his career with SAIL in the year 1979 as Junior Finance Officer and after working for over two decades in various disciplines in Finance and Corporate Planning, became the Company Secretary of SAIL. He moved from SAIL to Petronet LNG.
