TTS Group ASA’ subsidiary TTS Energy AS has signed a contract with SWS, Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipyard China for two Drilling Equipment Packages. The contract has a value of over USD 90 million. The Drilling Equipment Packages will be installed on two new high specification F&G JU2000E Jack-Up Rigs which are scheduled for delivery Q1 2014.

TTS Energy has options for delivery of three additional drilling rigs with the yard.

Earlier this year, TTS got contracts for delivery of the same equipment packages to DSIC Offshore in Dalian and represents an affirmation of TTS’ commitment to success in China. “It’s a great feeling to have two of the largest shipyards in the world on our side,” says Johannes Neteland, CEO of TTS Group ASA.

TTS Energy is a supplier of high performance drilling and handling solutions to the international oil and gas industry.
