UK: Hamworthy Strengthens Its Board

Hamworthy plc a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative marine and offshore fluid handling systems, announced the appointment of Simon James Nicholls to the board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 September 2011. Hamworthy plc a world leader in the design and manufacture of innovative marine and offshore fluid handling systems, announced the appointment of Simon James Nicholls to the board as a non-executive director with effect from 1 September 2011.

Mr Nicholls, aged 47, is currently Group Finance Director of Senior plc, having previously been Chief Finance Officer for Hanson plc’s North American operations. Mr Nicholls is also currently a director on the board of the following subsidiaries of Senior plc: Senior Engineering Investments Limited, Senior UK Limited, Senior Hargreaves Limited, Senior Finance Four Limited, Senior Aerospace GmbH and Senior Engineering Investments BV.

Gordon Page, Chairman of Hamworthy , said: “ We are delighted to welcome Simon to the board. Simon’s extensive experience as finance director of a successful FTSE 250 international engineering group will complement our existing expertise on the Hamworthy board .”
