PMSS America, Inc., the 100% owned US subsidiary of the leading renewable energy consulting firm PMSS, today announced another senior professional to their US headquarters in New York City.
James Doane joins the expanding PMSS US team as a Senior Engineer to support the growing demand for PMSS’ offshore wind consulting services in this rapidly developing market sector. In addition to his engineering role, James will support on & offshore projects, building the US knowledge base and leveraging European experience in Offshore Wind Delivery.
James joined the highly regarded US wind and solar consultancy – AWS Truepower in 2008 where he worked until recently as Senior Engineer in the Offshore Division. James has double degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Union Graduate College, New York.
James brings with him a wide range of senior level expertise, providing engineering guidance in wind farm design & development for onshore and offshore sites. He has lead a number feasibility studies for offshore wind energy developments in the US, from the East Coast and Great Lakes. James has conducted numerous due diligence evaluations of wind energy portfolios constituting over 3000MW of installed capacity, as well as pre-construction projects.
