Iran: Gas Injection Starts into Serajeh Gas Storage

Injection of natural gas into Qom Serajeh gas storage reservoir at the average of 300 psi started on 16th of August 2011, managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company, (NIGC), Javad Owji (image) announced.

According to the report of the public relations of the NIGC, he said that seven million cubic meters of gas per day will be injected to Serajeh gas field and will extract 9 million cubic meters of gas during the peak months of the year.

It’s worth mentioning that, natural gas injection now started with the capacity of 3.6 million cubic meters of gas per day into Serajeh gas storage reservoir.
