Houston-based international offshore drilling contractor, announced that one of its subsidiaries has been awarded a six month contract by Chevron Australia Pty. Ltd. for the Atwood Eagle.
With this contract, the firm contractual commitments for the Atwood Eagle are expected to extend through July 2012. The day rate will be approximately $370,000.
Atwood Oceanics, Inc. , its international operating subsidiary, Atwood Offshore Worldwide Limited and related subsidiaries, are engaged in the business of international offshore drilling, as well as the completion of exploratory and developmental oil and gas wells, plus related support, management, and consulting services.
