The Netherlands: SBM Offshore CEO to Step Down

Mr Tony Mace has advised the SBM Offshore Supervisory Board that in light of recent events he will not stand for re-election at the next AGM on 16 May 2012.

The Supervisory Board has decided that it will call later this year an EGM to propose Mr. Bruno Chabas to take over as CEO with effect from 1 January 2012.

Mr Bruno Chabas joined the Company as COO on 1 May 2011 from Acergy, where he had held the position of COO for 8 years.

He is a French citizen and has an MBA from Babson College, USA. Mr Tony Mace will continue as CEO of the Company until 31 December 2011.
