Jasper Offshore today announced that its modern Pelican Class self-propelled drill ship Jasper Explorer commenced its mobilisation to the Republic of Guinea on 20th August 2011.
The contract is with AGR on behalf of Hyperdynamics Corporation. Drilling at the first well is expected to start in October. The rig will drill two wells anticipated to last about 90 days in total. Thereafter the charterer has five mutually agreed option wells.
