On Aug.11th, the 66.6m AHTS-REDFISH 3 ,built by Yuexin Shipbuilding Company for Malaysian owner, has been delivered successfully which is the sixth delivered project this year. The other five vessels are,the sister vessel of REDFISH 3- REDFISH2, 69.9m AHTS BODY TIDY built for Tidewater Company,45m multi-purpose vessel-WESTSEA KESTREL built for WESTSEA OFFSHORE PTE LTD;32m ASD TUG-SEALION ADMIRA built for Sealion Sparkle Port and Terminal Services ( Dahej) Ltd and MRS DOROTY built for COREMAR S.A.S..
REDFISH 3 applies the design of Conan Wu & Associates Company. With 66.6m lengh overall, 6m breadth moulded and 5m depth moulded as well as 5m draft and 420 m2 Clear Deck Area, the vessel can carry 42 mariners, 1238 m3 fuel oil,239m3potable water. Powered by two NIIGATA main engines with 2942kw at 750rpm each, the vessel is equipped with two CAT gen sets and three CMR thrusters to enable the vessel to be with good stability.
Other than the 6 vessels, Yuexin signed a new contact of 4 units of 34m ASD TUG with Red Sea Marine Service Company in Middle East. It is designed for the high temperature and high humidity environmental conditions of Middle East, including surrounding air temperature up to 55 ℃, relative humidity up to 95% and marine temperature up to 37℃. The vessels will serve in Arabia Gulf after delivery.
Moreover, Yuexin Company has completed 6 milestones of steel cutting, 4 of keel-laying and 7 of launching, which accomplishes the production goal of the first half of the year and makes a solid foundation for completing the production task of the whole year.
