Tyco Valves & Controls, a leading manufacturer and marketer of valves, actuators and controls is pleased to present its range of market-leading products, services and solutions at Offshore Europe 2011.

Tyco will be showcasing its latest designs of actuated subsea ball valves, which meet the evolving needs of ultra deep, remote oil production. They are specifically designed to operate in the harshest and most demanding conditions, submerged in salt water at depths of 3,000m for up to 30 years without maintenance.

As part of an ongoing investment in product and testing, Tyco has invested two hyperbaric chambers, capable of simulating pressure conditions up to 3,000m water depth, which means valves are tested for pressure and endurance to ensure each package will outlive the design life of the project.

Tyco’s extensive experience top side will be in evidence at Offshore Europe 2011 with the presentation of Vanessa, the original lightweight and space-saving triple offset rotary valve. Vanessa offers a desirable alternative to traditional gate and ball valves where reliability, durability, low maintenance and long service life are essential.

Tyco will also be focusing on pilot-operated relief valve products for the oil and gas sector at Offshore Europe. The Anderson Greenwood range of pilot-operated safety valves has been used in the North Sea since exploration began and continues to provide space and weight ratio saving benefits to users.

Tyco’s specialist offering to the oil industry is complimented by products like the Vonk choke control valve, which is used extensively across the industry to provide excellent flow control and guaranteed tight shut-off in severe conditions.

“Offshore Europe provides Tyco with an excellent opportunity to showcase our latest innovations in design and technology” comments David Sinsou, Subsea Segment Leader for Tyco Flow Control . “With a global network of tried and trusted engineers and qualified access to the world’s spares inventory, we really are ideally placed to deliver efficient and timely support to offshore and onshore operators.”
