COSCO Corporation Limited, COSCO (Dalian) Shipyard Co., a subsidiary of the Company’s 51% owned COSCO Shipyard Group Co., Ltd has delivered a bulk carrier of 92500DWT, “Scotian Express” to its European buyer, Vroon B.V. The delivery documents were signed by and between COSCO Dalian and the buyer on 26 August 2011.

Vroon has over 50 years’ experience in operating dry cargo vessels. The vessels carry all types of ‘dry’ cargo, e.g. ores, coal and grains, but also intermediate and finished products such as steel plates and pipes. The vessels are marketed and operated by Vroon B.V., while technical management is often contracted to business partners.
