China: Yuexin Shipyard Launches 32m ASD TUG

At 12:00am on 31th August 2011, a launching ceremony of 32M ASD TUG YX3132 which applies the design of ROBERT ALLAN LTD, was held in Yuexin Shipyard. The vessel measures 32m in length with a moulded breath of 5.36m and a moulded draft of 7.2m. Maximum draught is 5.81m. It can carry 205 m 3 fuel oil, 37m3 fresh water, 113 m3 drill water and 500 m3 lubricating oil.

The designed ahead bollard pull reaches 70T and the astern pull reaches 60T as well as the designed speed reaches 12 knots.

Yuexin Shipbuilding Company Limited , established in the year 2000, is an enterprise of Class Three National Qualifications, Class A Design Qualification of the shipbuilding business in Guangdong Province. So far, Yuexin has delivered more than 60 vessels since it was founded. The company specializes in building series offshore work vessels from 4000 to 16000 horsepower, including DP2 Support/Maintenance Vessel, Multi-purpose Utility Vessels,Anchor Handling Tug/Supply Vessel,ASD Tug and etc. As the comprehensive strength of the company escalated in recent years, it has capability of constructing Anchor handling tug/supply vessel up to 16000 horsepower.
