RBG and Stork Technical Services (STS) will highlight the benefits of its combined service and technology offering at Offshore Europe as the companies exhibit together for the first time at booth 26C0.
In advance of the exhibition, RBG and STS have launched an Offshore Europe microsite, www.assessinspectrepair.com, that provides information on the assess, inspect and repair offering delivered to Operators globally across the asset lifecycle.
RBG’s acquisition by STS in May 2011 not only resulted in a combined geographical footprint covering major oil and gas producing regions including the UK, Continental Europe, Americas, Caspian, Middle East and Asia Pacific, but also brought together integrated service portfolios that deliver a new asset integrity assurance offering.
Asset integrity has come to the fore in recent years as Operators seek to extend the lifespan of their aging assets in line with the Health and Safety Executive’s KP3 and KP4 inspection programmes.
Traditionally, asset integrity has been delivered through several contractors; however, STS and RBG can deliver the full range of end-to-end asset integrity assurance services through a single project team, with multi-disciplined operatives and advanced technology providing cost and efficiency benefits for the customer.
