Preliminary production figures for August 2011 indicate an average daily production of about 1 957 000 barrels of oil, NGL and condensate. This is a decrease of 80 000 barrels compared to July.

Gas production was about 7.9 billion Sm3, which is 0.6 billion Sm3 more than the previous month.

The average daily liquid production in August was: 1 625 000 barrels of oil, 242 000 barrels of NGL and 89 000 barrels of condensate.

The somewhat reduced production in August is due to planned maintenance and technical problems on several fields. Oil production is somewhat higher than the NPD’s prognosis for August and also above the prognosis for the year to date.

Total production for the first eight months of 2011 is about 143.9 million Sm 3 oil equivalents. (MSm 3 o.e.), broken down as follows: about 65.9 MSm 3 o.e. of oil, about 12.5 MSm 3 o.e. of NGL and condensate and about 65.4 MSm 3 o.e. of gas. This is 9.9 MSm 3 o.e. less than in the same period in 2010.

Final production figures from July 2011 show an average daily production of about 1.705 million barrels of oil, 0.332 million barrels of NGL and condensate and a total of 7.3 billion Sm 3 net gas production.

Preliminary production figures for September will be published in October 2011.
