Transas Marine Pacific Pte Ltd (TMP) in cooperation with PT MultiIntegra (Transas Group distributor in Indonesia) have successfully accomplished two simulator projects in Indonesia. Merchant Marine Schools BP2IP Mauk Tangerang and BP2IP Aceh have extended their training capabilities by adding Engine Room Simulators and a Full Mission Ship Handling Simulator to existing training facilities. Both schools are a part of the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation’s Education Training Agency.

Under the contract BP2IP Tangerang Marine School acquired a new Engine Room Simulator. The Marine School BP2IP Aceh purchased an Engine Room Simulator, GMDSS simulator and a Full Mission Ship Handling Simulator with visualization incorporating seven channels. Each project is a turnkey project solution covering design, supply, installation, commissioning and training. These projects maximize local knowledge, particularly regarding installation, civil work and also of new Indonesian exercise areas.

“The combined ability of Transas and PT MultiIntegra to add local value is the main reason why we were awarded the contracts” , said Aloys Sutarto, Managing Director of PT MultiIntegra.

Capt. Edy Santoso, Director of Merchant Marine School BP2IP Mauk Tangerang commented: “We are very happy with this new simulator; not only because our school now has more facilities but also because the Transas product offers functionalities beyond our expectations. Another key issue is that we don’t have to worry about maintenance and after sales services in the future because we know from experience the capabilities of PT MultiIntegra as Transas Agent in Indonesia”.
