International subsea engineering firm Jee had an ‘extremely successful’ show, says Trevor Jee, Managing Director.

“ The exhibition this year was a triumph ,” said Trevor. “ We met many potential customers and caught up with existing clients such as Flexlife, GSP Offshore and BP. Many delegates were intrigued by the pipeline and cable span monitoring kit we demonstrated. With this neat piece of gear, we were able to show how you can get a better understanding of subsea cables by monitoring their movement over a few weeks or months. With the help of some data analysis and finite element modelling, the results are used to assess cable or pipeline fatigue so that clients can plan ahead accordingly.

“Jee is an engineering company which also does training. This year at Offshore Europe we were able to showcase both of these sides of the business and make the point that we train the things we do on a daily basis: subsea engineering projects, analysis, consultancy, and operations support.”
