Kersten Europe B.V. has been awarded with the contract for bending parts for the Gwynt y Môr landing platforms.

Kersten Europe delivers all bent hollow sections for 160 landing platforms. The Gwynt y Môr windmill park is based in the Iris Sea, 18km off the coast of North Wales, United Kingdom.

The contract consisted of bending 537 pcs RHS300x200x12.5mm, including 3D cutting of the ends with welding edges. Kersten Europe makes use of modern Robot Technology for cutting 3D ends of bent sections.

Kersten Europe has been the specialist in bending technology for decades. The company bends profiles and plates in steel, stainless steel and aluminium at production sites in the Netherlands, Germany and Poland. Kersten Europe offers a complete package of bent parts for the offshore Wind industry, using the latest generation of bending machines, robots and advanced mechanical processing machines. From J-tubes, bell mouths, landing platforms, Suction Anchors, Conductor guides, Sleeves and more.

Kersten Europe is constantly pushing back the boundaries of what is possible and offers complete project management. Besides the bending of profiles and plates, this also includes: engineering, prototyping, the execution of additional machining of bent products, logistics and transport.
