Vietnam: Hyundai Vinashin Holds Steel Cutting Ceremony for NORDEN’s New Bulk Carrier

On 21st September, 2011, Steel Cutting Ceremony for the 37,000 DWT Bulk Carrier vessel having hull no. S063 has been organized at fabrication shop with attention of representative from ship owner, DNV and HVS.

The S063 is the last order in a series of 6 vessels contracted between HVS and Norden Company (Denmark).

To be similar with her sisters, she is 187m in height, 27.8 m in width, 15.6 m in depth and its capacity of 5 cargo holds is 47,600 m3. As planned, keeling laying ceremony for the vessel S063 will be taken place in February, 2012 and hand over to ship-owner in October, 2012.
