Cianbro’s wind energy services will be in the spotlight at the AWEA Offshore WINDPOWER Conference & Exhibition on October 11-13, in booth 331 at the Baltimore Convention Center in Maryland.

Cianbro’s Wind Energy Services has been running full steam in Maine. In July, Patriot Renewables awarded Cianbro the Spruce Mountain Wind Project in Woodstock, Maine.
The 20 Megawatt project scope includes foundations, turbine erection, electrical collection, and electrical transmission. Cianbro is also in the final design stages of the University of Maine’s deep water test turbine platform scheduled for deployment next summer two miles off Monhegan Island Maine. Cianbro has also been selected to perform wind farm maintenance at several sites around Maine.
A Maine-based organization established in 1949, Cianbro services clients nationwide. The recent strategic acquisition of STARCON International, Inc, a wholly-owned subsidiary has enabled the companies to expand the portfolio of services they can provide to a wide range of clients. Cianbro’s experience in the industrial, Electrical Transmission and Distribution, transportation infrastructure, steel fabrication and coating, and modular manufacturing, combines well with STARCON’s experience providing mechanical and turnaround contractor services to the petrochemical industry.
