South Korea: Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Holds Naming Ceremony for Two Tankers

Double namegiving ceremony for the MT Iver Best and the MT Iver Blessing took place yesterday, Wednesday 5 October 2011, at the Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, Ulsan, South Korea. The Iver Best was named by Mrs Daniëlle Zuiderwijk, wife of Mr Johan Zuiderwijk, Mazars Paardekooper Hoffman N.V. The Iver Blessing was christened by Mrs Mette Olin Behnke, wife of Mr Christian Behnke, Senior Relationship Manager, Danish Ship Finance.

The vessels are 6,187-ton asphalt/oil/chemical tankers and are the last two of a series of four vessels to be delivered to Vroon this year. In addition, the company has a further two 6,255-ton asphalt/oil/chemical tankers on order at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, constructed to ice-class requirements.

The Iver Best was delivered to Vroon today and Iver Blessing will be delivered in early November.
