Today, KCA Deutag announced it has been awarded a major contract, by TAQA Bratani, to supply platform drilling and maintenance services to four North Sea drilling platforms (Eider, Tern, North Cormorant and Cormorant Alpha).
The primary term of this contract is three years and the award represents nine figure associated revenue.
KCA Deutag’s chief executive Holger Temmen commented:

We have retained our position as North Sea market leader over the past 16 years, while opportunities overseas have grown considerably.
