The Netherlands: Vroon Offshore Takes Delivery of New AHTS Vessel

Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) yesterday announced that it had taken delivery of a new addition to their offshore fleet. Vroon Offshore Services (VOS) yesterday announced that it had taken delivery of a new addition to their offshore fleet.

The VOS Themis, a 1,400 dwt anchor handling tug support (AHTS) vessel built at the Fujian Shipyard in China, was delivered today, 17 October 2011, in China. The vessel will operate out of Singapore and will be managed by Vroon Offshore Services Pte Ltd.

VOS Themis was christened at the Fujian Shipyard in July by Ms Mette Kargaard, partner of Mr Rasmus Wilhelmsen, Director, GreenOcean Brokering.
