Norway: Statoil Receives Consent to Use Volve with Navion Europa Vessel

Statoil has received consent for temporary use of Volve with the Navion Europa vessel for storage of oil. The consent is valid through 31 October 2011.

Statoil has previously received consent for temporary use of Volve with Navion Europa through 15 October 2011.

This new consent entails an extension of the previous consent.

Volve is an oil field located in the southern part of the North Sea, about eight kilometres north of Sleipner Øst. The water depth in the area is approx. 80 metres.

The field was developed with the Mærsk Inspirer jack-up process and drilling facility.
