REpower Publishes Preliminary Results for First Half of Fiscal Year 2011/12 (Germany)

According to initial calculations, REpower Systems SE generated revenues of EUR 626.1 million in the first half of fis-cal year 2011/12 (1 April 2011 – 30 September 2011) – compared to EUR 499.0 million in the same period of the previous year. This corresponds to an increase of more than 25 percent.

According to initial calculations, REpower Systems SE generated revenues of EUR 626.1 million in the first half of fis-cal year 2011/12 (1 April 2011 – 30 September 2011) – compared to EUR 499.0 million in the same period of the previous year.

This corresponds to an increase of more than 25 percent. Total performance rose from EUR 515.2 million to EUR 590.7 million. In the reporting period the company generated operating profit (EBIT) of EUR 27.8 million (previous year’s period: EUR 34.3 million).

In the first half of fiscal year 2011/12 REpower installed or supplied in total 489 megawatts (MW) of capacity. In the previous year’s period new installations amounted to 399 MW. The increase is mainly due to the installation of wind tur-bines in the offshore wind farm Ormonde. Furthermore a higher number of 3.4M104 turbines have been installed.

The final results as well as the interim report for the first half of fiscal year 2011/12 will be published on 14 November 2011.
