On October 12th 2011, PTSC Geos and Subsea Services Co., Ltd together with Fugro Singapore Pte Ltd., (Fugro) held the signing ceremony of Memorandum of Understanding about cooperation in Geotechnical survey services.
Being one of the world’s leading companies in the field of Geophysical, Geotechnical, Metocean, etc. as well as the traditional, key partner of PTSC G&S, recently Fugro Singapore successfully implemented a Technical survey project in cooperation with PTSC G&S for Bien Dong POC client, using the dynamic positioning vessel (DP2) in block 05.2 & 05.3(water depth at about 120 meters) and other projects for Chevron, Quad Energy, PCVL, BP, etc. which were all appreciated by clients. Based on these achievements, Fugro Singapore committed to remaining the close collaboration with PTSC G&S in providing the Geotechnical Survey services, striving together to meet the demand of domestic oil & gas contractors and regional ones afterwards.
According to this MOU, PTSC G&S shall be the exclusive partner of Fugro Singapore in Vietnam Geotechnical Survey service market and shall promote the sharing of technology, provide supporting services. Especially, Fugro shall launch a high-tech training program for PTSC G&S’ personnel.
It is hoped that this MOU signing event shall stamp a remarkable mark on development in cooperation between two companies, supporting PTSC G&S to continuously improve the quality of Geotechnical Survey service (especially in the deep-water areas) in order that PTSC G&S may consolidate its prestige in domestic market and gradually make entrance into foreign markets.
