Iran Nears Completion of Pakistan Gas Pipe

Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project will be completed soon to curb the existing energy crisis of Pakistan, Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Mashallah shakeri said.

He went on to say that, Iran has almost completed due work on Iran-Pakistan gas pipeline project and now its Pakistan turn to complete the remaining work of the project, ISNA reported.

Talking to President Rawalpindi Chambers of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Jawed Bhatti he said Iran was fully aware of the energy needs of Pakistan and has already offered providing of electricity on cheaper rates.

“ Iran wanted to enhance the trade relations with Pakistan on priority basis “, he stressed.
