Australia: WorleyParsons Announces New Appointment to its Board

At its annual general meeting on 25 October 2011, WorleyParsons announced that Ms Wang Xiao Bin will be appointed to the Board as a non-executive director before its next board meeting in December. Ms Wang is based in Hong Kong and is currently Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of China

At its annual general meeting on 25 October 2011, WorleyParsons announced that Ms Wang Xiao Bin will be appointed to the Board as a non-executive director before its next board meeting in December.

Ms Wang is based in Hong Kong and is currently Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer of China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited. Prior to joining China Resources Power in July 2003, she was a director of corporate finance of ING Investment Banking, responsible for execution of capital markets and merger and acquisition transactions in the Asia Pacific region. Ms Wang worked for Pricewaterhouse in Australia in the audit and business advisory division for five years before joining ING Barings.

She is a member of the Australian Society of Certified Practising Accountants and holds a graduate diploma in Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia and a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Murdoch University in Australia.

The Chairman of WorleyParsons, Mr Ron McNeilly, said: “We are delighted that Ms Wang has accepted our invitation to join the Board. She will bring to the Board considerable business experience and expertise along with valuable insight into a region of the world of growing significance to our Company.”
