Vector Technology Groups Subsea Division has been awarded a contract by Technip Houston for a Subsea Pig Launcher rated at 15,000 PSI.

Vector Subsea Engineering have been working closely with Petrobras and Total to complete the design for Cascade Chinook Field in the Gulf of Mexico.

“ This is just another example of Engineering strength” explains Chris Lee Vector’s Subsea Division Managing Director.

“Our Engineering group has designed the launcher for a specific application for our client after a series of meetings to understand their issues ” Delivery is planned for Q1 2012.

Vector Technology Group (VTG) is a major single source supplier of bespoke compact sealing solutions for the Oil & Gas subsea and topside markets. It’s core products are OPTIMA Subsea ROV operable subsea connector, the SPO Compact Flange, and the TECHLOK Clamp connector for use in offshore platforms, subsea installations, FPSO’s, production plants, refineries and riser and swivel applications. Most important product features are; high integrity and minimisation of weight and space and allied to installation time and maintenance cost reductions. Vector Technology Group has an impressive background, a good international reputation and a well-earned position on top of the global market.In combination with an efficient supply chain Vector Technology Group is able to deliver both flexible and fast track deliveries in addition to executing larger projects. Its products cover pressure classes up to 15,000 psi and have a proven track record within High Pressure / High Temperature and harsh environment applications where fatigue, high bending and stress loads are of primary importance.
