On October 25, the signing ceremony for Classification Contract of five 76,000DWT Bulk Carrier with Lloyd’s Register was successfully held in Jinhai Heavy Industry. The CEO of Lloyd’s Register in Greater China Regions Mr. Nick Brown, the Executive Chairman and President of Jinhai Heavy Industry Mr. Li Guofeng and the Vice President of JHI Mr. Lu Peijing attended the signing ceremony.
Since the establishment of strategic cooperation relationship in June this year, Jinhai Heavy Industry and Lloyd’s Register have made a series of exchanges and cooperation. These five 76,000DWT bulk carrier are the new optimized and upgraded production on the basis of 79,600DWT bulk carrier in mature ship-type. The successful signing of classification contract marks another friendly cooperation between JHI and Lloyd’s Register, which will definitely promote Jinhai’s technological innovation, enhance the product competitiveness and speed up the realization of “Two World” goals.
