On October 26, 4#16900DWT BC (Hull No: SF080104), being built for Polish Steamship Co., was successfully launched. This vessel is the 4th one among 8 sister vessels contracted between Polish Steamship Company and SF shipyard.

It will be built strictly according to ABS rules.

16,900DWT Bulk Carrier

The vessel to be a single screw motor ship with B type freeboard, fitted with one controlled pitch left-handed propeller driven by low speed diesel engine 5S50MC-C, suitable for operation on heavy fuel oil up to 700 cSt at 50℃. The ship has five cargo holds, engine room and accommodation aft, transom stern, bulbous bow, raked stem, one streamlined rudder with Costa Buld and one bow thruster 600kW. The ship will be designed and built according to the rules requirements and under survey of the ABS and the Class Notation equivalent to 100A1 Bulk Carrier, BC=A, ESP, IWS, LI, Ice Class 1C, BWMP(S or S + F); LMC, UMS, SCM, NAV1.
