Papua New Guinea: Kentz Lands PNG LNG Gig

Kentz Corporation Limited, the holding company of the Kentz Engineering and Construction Group, confirmed that it has entered into a contract with the CBI Clough joint venture to execute the electrical and instrumentation, construction and commissioning completions contract for the Papua New Guinea

Kentz Corporation Limited, the holding company of the Kentz Engineering and Construction Group, confirmed that it has entered into a contract with the CBI Clough joint venture to execute the electrical and instrumentation, construction and commissioning completions contract for the Papua New Guinea (PNG) LNG Project Hides Gas Conditioning Plant.

The PNG LNG Project is an integrated development that includes natural gas production and processing facilities, onshore and offshore pipelines and liquefaction facilities with the capacity of 6.6 million tonnes per year.

Participating interests in the PNG LNG Project include Esso Highlands Limited as operator (a subsidiary of Exxon Mobil Corporation, 33.2 per cent), Oil Search Limited (29.0 per cent), National Petroleum Company PNG (PNG Government, 16.6 per cent), Santos Limited (13.5 per cent), Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration (4.7 per cent), Mineral Resources Development Company (PNG landowners, 2.8 per cent) and Petromin PNG Holdings Limited (0.2 per cent).
