Sweden: Scana Secures Order for Production Riser Systems

Scana Industrier ASA has through its subsidiary Scana Subsea Products AB, won a new order for production riser systems to a non-disclosed customer intended for a field development project in the North Sea. Scana Industrier ASA has through its subsidiary Scana Subsea Products AB, won a new order for production riser systems to a non-disclosed customer intended for a field development project in the North Sea.

Initial value of the order is 18 MSEK with additional options of approx 10 MSEK.

Production will start in 4(th) quarter 2011 and will be finished 1(st) quarter 2013.

Production will involve Scana Steel Bjørneborg for forgings and Scana Machining for the machining activities.

This contract recognize Scana as one of the leading suppliers of long length forgings for oil and gas applications.
